Specialties
Pilates & Physical Therapy are by nature excellent for everyone. When you learn how to move with ease, the benefits carry over into all activities. We teach you how to make adjustments, gain awareness and strengthen with confidence so you can enjoy and excel in any class or activity. Our specialties evolve from our training, passions & life experience. They include but are not limited to prenatal, postpartum, scoliosis, performance, Oov, and golf.
Prenatal Pilates
Prenatal Pilates assists your body with strength, alignment and awareness through your pregnancy, labor, delivery and postpartum.
Our Prenatal Assessment is a 50-minute evaluation and introductory session with Monarch Pilates owner Sandy Novembre or veteran teacher Lani Hoge. You will learn how to safely strengthen a diastasis recti, pelvic floor and improve core integration. We help you create a safe plan that best fits your needs involving private lessons, group classes and/or home exercises.
We offer prenatal private sessions and group reformer classes.
Postpartum Pilates
Postpartum Pilates is vital to safely recovering strength and re-establishing muscle connection. Our classes provide a safe and effective workout that tends to common postpartum needs, such as a diastasis recti, pelvic floor integration & tight upper body.
Our Postpartum Assessment is a recommended 50-minute assessment and introductory session with Monarch Pilates owner Sandy Novembre or veteran teacher Lani Hoge. We help you create a safe plan involving private lessons, group classes and/or home exercises.
We offer postpartum private sessions and group reformer classes.
Scoliosis Pilates
Scoliosis Pilates sessions teach the difference between structural and functional scoliosis. Using wedges with specific support you learn how to find comfort in your spine and practice exercises to specifically minimize the curve.
Our Scoliosis Assessment is a 50-minute evaluation and introductory session with Laura Ely who specializes in scoliosis Pilates. You will learn modifications specific to your body and postural cues. At the end of the assessment, you will discuss a program design with suggestions for which instructor, class or service will help you meet your personal goals.
Oov Pilates
Integrate the Oov into a Reformer workout to challenge and support your body. An Oov is a self-regulating feedback tool used in a Pilates session. It facilitates a natural reorganization and strengthening experience, challenges your balance and stability and lengthens the spine.
A 30-minute one-on-one Intro to Oov session or EDUCATE private lesson with Laura Ely is available for assistance in finding personal placement and comfort on the Oov.
Golf Pilates
Pilates for Golf provides the opportunity to improve performance and reduce injury.
Our Golf Performance Assessment is a 50-minute evaluation and introductory session with Meg Kelly, a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) healthcare and fitness professional. The evaluation includes a systematic analysis of movement patterns to identify opportunities to improve golf swing mechanics and reduce the risk of injury, helping golfers stay healthy and on the golf course. At the end of the assessment, you will discuss a program plan with movement goals that target the demands of the sport for improving performance as well as which private lessons and/or group classes would best help you achieve these goals.
Gait Training
Gait Training on the Core Align improves core strength, foot and leg alignment, and integrates strength into everyday activities. Gait training can be used for rehabilitation, improved functional movement or athletic performance.
