I came to know Pilates by seeking a path towards healing. I tried many movement techniques only to find some worked better than others and Pilates stood out. Consequently, I spent years in training and acquired various teaching credentials in Pilates and numerous certifications in a number of bio-mechanical modalities prior to opening my own studio. I also worked for several years alongside Physical Therapists and Chiropractors whose primary focus is to address solely the part of the body that needs to be rehabilitated. My focus is to view the body as a wholly integrative entity, observing how each muscle affects the other, creating a symbiotic cross-patterning effect. I’ve created comprehensive programs for wellness and fitness using this approach.
